Happy Friday!

the work week is almost done, i am so happy. i love my weekends at home with family and friends. tomorrow i am taking imani to see a musical production of the little mermaid. that girl was born to act! she loves to see plays and musicals so i try to take her whenever they are available. then we are having some friends over to swim and have dinner. 

the musical is traveling so i will be sure to let you know how it was! i did see wicked recently and that was absolutely amazing! if you ever get a chance to see it please do, you will not be sorry!! 

any fun plans out there? the state fair is here right now, anyone else have a big fair going on?

Finally!

My BFF got married over the weekend, it was so beautiful! She has been with her husband for 9 years so it was time! They are so in love and I was so honored to stand next to her as her matron of honor. The wedding was on a beach in South Lake Tahoe so it was gorgeous. We had so much fun and it was great to see my babies dressed up and taking their jobs seriously. They all did so well.

The hubs gave my "niece" a ring at the beginning of the ceremony to show her how he is not only devoted to her mother but to her as well. That might have been the sweetest thing ever! It was so great, he has been around since she was 4 and he is way more of a father to her than her bio dad.

I love them all so much and I am so grateful that my family and I get to be a part of their fairy tale!

My baby is 1!

My sweet little baby girl turned 1 last week. I have been so busy that it just snuck up on me and I cannot wrap my mind around it.

Big brother and big sister have been helping to teach her new words. They love her so much and seeing how they care for her makes my heart melt every time. I am excited to watch our babies grow up and become amazing people!
